Quick Nero File-Naming Question

I reformatted XP and reloaded about a month ago. I installed Nero 7 same version I had used for over a year before the reinstall of XP.

I typically burn data DVDs, about every other one gives me at least one burn error of "Rename file nnnnnnn.nnn to...". [Nero burns the disc but truncates the file name--I don't mind but want to figure out why all of a sudden I'm getting this error.] The filenames that have to be changed are long but not 128 characters, nor are they in a bunch of nested folders that might possibly increase the filename length. Is there a setting in Nero that could be changed? It doesn't make sense why this is suddenly happening--the only change I make to Nero defaults is to enable file verification.

Thanks for any tips on finding a place to change a setting.

Edit: Could foreign characters in the name be a problem? Would installing Language support make a difference? Sorry I can't give the name of a specific file that was changed. I'll pay greater attention next time it happens before deleting the original.

Ok, I figured out that 63 characters is the maximum that this installation allows. Anyone know of a setting to change to allow longer filenames? I don't remember having this problem before the reformat. Thanks for any info about whether or not this is usual for Nero.
