Quick question about Call Of Duty 4

    I guess this could have gone to the gaming forum..... but does COD4 have to be played on-line? Is there a single player "off line" mode? I'm not a real big fan of being forced to play a game on line with other people or whatever....

    (I'm thinking about buying it and I just want to know what's up with it first)
