    just a quick one....

if you cut and paste, then dont save changes, is there anyway of getting back what you cut out.... eg. i cut a table out of one doc, and pasted it into a second doc, but didnt save changes, but obviously saved changes on first doc, so it wasn't on second doc, and obviously it wasnt on first doc cos i cut it out...?

if you didn't copy anything else to your clipboard, then it should still be in memory.. just try pasting again.

I've learned the hard way to Copy/Paste instead of Cut/Paste, that way I always have a backup! Hope you got your document back!

Or look in the win temp files if you have not rebooted....

Eric, second that suggestion. Copy/Paste is always safer than Cut/Paste in any program, not just Excel. Bazza
