Quick question about PMs...

    I must be missing something, so please pardon my ignorance.

    Where is there a setting to enable my Sent items folder? I've looked at the FAQ and in my User CP, but no matter what, my Sent items folder is always empty. Zero. Doesn't matter if I originate the PM, or if I've replied to someone - there ain't nothing there. Inbox is working fine.

    What am I missing?

    I thought it was an option in your User CP, but couldn't find it in mine. Actually, I thought it was the default setting.

    There is the option when you are creating or responding to PMs down at the bottom under 'Additional options' to check the box. I've changed your profile to automatically have them sent to your Sent Folder.

    I've noticed this too. But is the "automatic" setting available to the user or an admin function only?

    [... timed out on me ....] I meant, can the "automatic" setting be available to the user or is it only a moderator/admin function only? I did notice under the User Options when enabling PMs, I see a check box with no description of what the enabling/disabling performs (attached). Any idea what this is?

    HAHA!!! As if I know anything about it. For that matter, I heard that PMS is one of those 'ghost' ailments contrived just to get out of doing the wifely chores like washing dishes, mopping the floors, etc....

    BTW, there is such a thing as male PMS :-D

    I have a question: In the User Control Panel, there is a check box without a description, right underneath "Enable Private Messaging" in Edit Options (the one Kaura just mentioned). Why is there no description? Who misplaced it?

    Likely one one the below options we may have disabled in the adminCP

    my guess is the top one of the two or its a gremlin and tickbox out of place, have you ticked it to see what happens, maybe the delete my account check box :-D
