My computer's recently been saved from the brink of destruction at the hands of some virus.
To avoid this situation again, I've downloaded quite a bit of protection for my computer, such as CCleaner, MalwareBytes, Spybot, Avast, etc.

But, I was just wondering, do I need all of these? Could one of these programs interfere with the other?

So, I'd like some help from the Software community.

I would suggest ditching Spybot and replacing with SuperAntiSpyware. Spybot isn't as good as it once was.
Several different antispyware programs together is a good idea, as 1 might watch out in a different way than another. (signature-based compared to action-based).That way, they cover each others back.

    I've currently got installed:

    MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware (Free)
    CCleaner
    avast! (Home) + ThreatFire
    SUPERAntiSpyware
    Outpost Firewall

Will anything interfere with anything else's work?

I have used ThreatFire before, but removed it after it started giving me warnings about my antivirus wanting to make a connection for updates.
    Can you say "good-bye"?
    I can and did.
