Quick Question

    Hi,
    only a quickie , just got avant browser , works great but appears to be piggybacked on i.e...is it a safe browser well safer than i.e or does it have all the same holes and exploits i.e does..if my question sounds stupid,sorry but im kinda not the brightest at this techie stuff.

    If it uses the IE engine, then it will be open to the same exploits and security flaws. :)

    But i dont know whether it uses the I.E engine or not..its a bit like asking me whats the last number in pie...dunno...sorry like i said not good at techie..anyone know the answer.

    Just did a quick search, and it does use the IE engine. Avant's site said that it was as secure as IE! :)
