quick questions (disk defrag&removing progs)

heys guys ,
just a few quick questions i not sure on
A) is there any way of making sure you fully uninstall programmes because i have a feeling sonys (sonicstage) prog has left a lot of its files on my comp and still has entrys in the start menu, any tips on getting it off completly

B)what exactly is disk defragging and how often should i do it

hhmm...as far as checking for files left on your computer...run a search,, for sony sonicstage files...maybe? As for defragging...go here (bottom of page):
