I am looking to reinstall xp on an old machine and the only important data I need to backup before wiping the drive is some check book data from Quicken. Where do I find the files I need to backup so when I do a clean install I can return the important data to the way it was? I is not my machine and I am not familiar with Quicken so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have an older version of Quicken, '98, and to backup you go to "File" and then "backup" and it will prompt you through it. I've used cd's, dvd's, and floppys for backup. Once your new system is installed, load the disc and go to "file" and then "restore backup file". You can also set it up to prompt you every so often to back up.
