QuickRestored and many odd problems.

Well my computer finally made me quickrestore but it seems very odd....one thing for example is the speaker icon at the bottom right is not there. To change the sound I need to go to start programs entertainment and volume control....is there anyway to make it icon or send it to where it should be?

Another problem is everything is at a good size except the list from start --> all programs. The list and all the programs are quite small. And when you have tons of programs it gets hard to find one when everything is so small....I could send a screenshot if need be.

Another annoyance is my windows doesn't automatically go into my account (the only one made) it just asks which I want to log into and mine is the only one (there is no password set to it)......Well thanks in advance.

 

Okay I figured out two things. It wouldn't automatically logon because it was set to go to the welcome screen and the sound icon for some reason was checked not to be there. I still have the problem with the small names of files in all program menu and when icons disappear, this usually happens with my filesharing program. I think it got closed and I double click the desktop icon and it just appears but it's already logged on so it didn't close....I think this is because the little arrow that lets you show hidden icons isn't there.....how do I activate that? ....This is annoying....Well thanks in advance.

 

Problem 1: Sound Icon

Go to the Control Panel and select Multimedia and under the audio tab there is a setting to show volume control on the taskbar.

Battleangel I tried to make kazaa lite "always show" and it still didn't show when I know it's active.....so any other ideas?

I'm going to remake the list in this post:

1. Icons disappear, for example filesharing program. Even if I make it say "always show" from the properties of taskbar, it still doesn't show.

2. All the text or whatever in all program menu is really small. I don't know why, and it's hard to find my programs with such small text.

3. I want to make my computer basically log in automatically. It needs a welcome screen and I only have me and a user, guest is turned off and well ASP.net which I believe microsoft installed with a patch.

 

Another problem is at times like when opening a folder, it just acts odd by going black and then it goes back to normal. But it's still annoying. Also whatever I was trying to use, closes.
