Quickstart menu resets itself

XP Pro -

All of a sudden, my Quickstart menu on the Task Bar will either reset itself to a previous config, or alltogether dissapear.

I like to have items in a certain order, and have "Lock the Taskbar" checked. When I notice icons have re-arranged, I'll unlock the Taskbar and re-arrange the items in the Quickstart menu, and then lock the Taskbar. Next day-they're all screwed up again - or gone!

The only thing I have done latelty is install and run CCleaner. Could that have anything to do with it?

And why yes, I am a writer! And I'm mad that nobody responded to my post and I'm never coming back! And my feelings were hurt, and wah wah, poor me. I'm going to tell all my writer friends to not come here because they are mean and don't respond to my posts. Wah wah wah...
