Quicktime Movie Problems

    Greetings Geeks.

    I'm using XP Pro. I received a Quicktime Movie (.mov) file from a friend who uses a Mac running osx 10.3. The movie runs fine on his Mac which uses Quicktime 6.5. I cannot view the movie with my PC which is also utilizing Quicktime 6.5. Can anybody help? All I've read tells me this should not be a problem, but there it is. The original frames for this Qtime Movie were created by Archicad 8.0, could this be an issue? Though the file is a Quicktime file .mov.

    Dont know much about Quick Time to be honest, dont really like the program
    have you thought about using Jet Audio 6 its a really cool player that will also play quicktime mov files ;)

    A couple of things to try....


    1. Re-install Quicktime, just incase your install is corrupt

    2. Try Quicktime Alternative ( a cutdown version that uses mediaplayer classic to playback the vids.. I now use this over the full QT install ) http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4100
