Quicktime Problems

    My quicktime keeps crashing my pc or restarting it, its only when im using mov files. I have reformated and still the same, tried different versions of quicktime, tried qt alternative ,no good. Plz help thx

    Questions. Does non-quicktime movies work?

    Such as windows media player files?

    What are your system specs?

    Ye, they work in qt, but it only crashes or restarts when playing MOV files

    Athlonxp 3200 barton
    Ati 9800 pro
    512mb ram
    creative audigy 2 zs
    80gb hd
    gigabyte GA-7N400E mobo

    its not the qt player ,its the codec , for example when im using mov files in vegas or adobe premier it has the same effect :(
