Quicktime showing logo with Question mark

Hi ..

I am running Xp windows with explorer.

I just bought this new PC and for some reason now my daughter tells me that Quicktime no longer plays the video streams in my space and bebo.

I did update Qt to the latest version but that did not help. I also did this:

How To Solve The Problem On Windows
Just follow these steps (for Windows— see above for the Mac):
1. Click the "Start" menu
2. Double-click "Control Panel"
3. Double-click the "QuickTime" icon
4. Select the "File Types" tab
5. Click the "+" sign to the left of "Miscellaneous"
6. Make sure "Flash media" is NOT checked
7. Click "OK"
8. Close the control panel
9. Restart your browser.

But that didnt help,instead I dont see the logo just and empty space where the video should be playing.... I also download Flash Player 9 and that didnt help.....

I also uninstalled and reinstalled Quictime 7 instead of 7.2...Still that didnt help.....

Any ideas how to get this working...Perhaps I have to chnge setting in windows????? or change different settings in Quicktime......

This PC is 2 days old with no virus...Previous computer had no problems with this.....

Get rid of Quick Time (and Real Player). Remove all references to it in your registry. Install and run K-Lite (full) codec pack from this site, set it to pay QT files (and Real Player) and you will find that it will play everyting Quick Time can.
