    Hi all,

I used to post all these questions about what was slowing my download speeds, and I think I found out what it was....

    Quicktime!

I used A Squared Hijack Free that someone here told me about, and when Quicktime showed up as starting at launch, I disabled it. It took a while, though... I would disable it, and then it would show up again, and I would have to disable it again, and sometimes it would even show up twice... Not sure what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure QT was the culprit...

Now my d/l speeds are back up to the mid-twenties kb/s, up from around 8 or 9...

Just wanted to post in case someone else was having a problem w/ this...

Thanks beanier. I've got Quicktime on my W98SE system.
Slow internet speeds but think it is AOL. :p
Gonna uninstall QT anyhow, as I don't use it. Bazza
