quintessential player

    I use the quintessential player for my mp3 and ogg vorbis files on my pc. When I load up the play list with an assortment of tracks from different albums there is often a shift in volume when a new song begins... which is annoying. I am wondering is there a way to make all the songs play at the same volume level.

    Hi, THis might be caused in the intitial recording and they have not been recorded at the same level. It would make it hard for the player to automatically adjust the volume as it would not know what the original volumes were set at.

    Yes you are correct. I was hoping that there was a way to adjust for that. Perhaps not.
