Radeon 7000 graphics card

    hi

    i have a radeon 7000 graphics card and i it not working propley. i installed the castylt driver.

    the problem it is causing is it can play a video for example i can use sopcast. futhermore it will cause the whole pc to freeze.

    it is a hardware problem or software.

    I would say it could be both. First I would check to see how hot your GPU is and would also check the heatsink on the card for dust. If it is running to hot it can cause the system to freeze.

    what version of catalyst driver did you use?
    Did you get it form ati's site or form the card manufacturers site, though it shouldnt make any difference, in some cases it does. My sons pc has a saphire radeon 9550 and it works better off the drivers from saphire strange I know.
    So, try different driver version.
