radeon x600 xt not compatable, really need help!!

since i got this graphics card ive had problems, i mean i could play my games but only when the computer didnt freak out...i would start my computer and almost the instant the log on screen appeared it would freeze, the screen would become all distorted and it would restart itself...this would happen over and over until i finally just gave up and shut it down completely? i just want to know, is there a way to fix it, ive tried reinstalling the drivers, finding newer ones all that and nothing. is there something im missing, please help me out, thanks

 

it seems to be seated correctly, i run at high resolution i tried reinstalling everything but nothing works

 

i had that card for a little while, and i had the exact same problems. I tried...A LOT of stuff, like switching sata cables/ports, rma'ing the card, a bunch of stuff...Finally i just gave up and got an x850 xt pe on sale for 350.

 

ill probably just end up having to do that too, thanks anyway for your help

 

First you might make sure you have the latest Direct X(MS updated it but didn't change the version number) as well as the latest motherboard drivers.

you might try driver cleaner pro...as well as installing omega drivers, I've found that you can disable certain effects that some games have problems with whereas with the normal drivers I could not do so.
