    Hello guys,

    I am using 2 X WD200 Hard Drives (IDE) in a Raid 1, on WXP SP3.

    I Hard Drive is faulty.

Motherboard is GA-81945-G with 4 X SATA II connections 3 Gb.

I have decided to get 2 X 128 Gb SATA II and fit them configured in Raid 1.

But that is as far as I can go.

Once that is done I do not kno:wavew how to transfer data to the new Drives, or anything else. I do not have a Windows CD as the PC was custom built.

Can someone please give me detailed advice as in Step 1, Step 2, good enough for a novice to make a successful install.

Thanking you all for your help.

The person who sold you the pc should have included recovery media. Before you get to far in you need to find either the legit copy of xp that you can reinstall from the original seller, or look at purchasing a new os in which case windows 7/8 would be what your looking for. With out that, we aren't gonna be too much help here.
