I have a msi k8n neo2 platinum w/nforce 3 ultra chipset. A new set of SATA 320 gig drives. My question, I dont want to reinstall all of my programs games etc. Can I set up a raid 0, fresh install, then ghost my old 80 gig harddrive over to the array without a prob? Is it possible even, whats the best way of doing it.

    Thanks again.

yup...It costs money, however a 'well worth the expense' software program called Norton Ghost will allow you to create a complete image of your hard drive, or simply 'ghost' the old drive to new!!

Not sure if any freeware supporting this function, is available to date!

The fact that you run a 'Sata Raid' interface for your new HDD set up, your mobo should still allow IDE to be run in sync (assuming your old drive, supports this interface).
Simply configure the old drive within your new system and 'ghost' the old drives data, to new...
This is only one way, and not everyone's cup of tea, however it serves to achieve maximum result with less caffeine intake!
The program also supports many other features including 'system restore point' settings and boot disc manufacture options.

    It served me well anyway.
