RAID Drivers Promise 20276

I've been to the gigabyte site download section & grabbed the raid driver as I don't have the CD that came with the board.

I thought it would create its own floppy but it wasn't that easy. The download has is a piece of software that checks the array from within windows. The drivers are a side dish.

Anyway I found what I think are the drivers for XP. Three files.
1/ FASTTRACK.cat 2/ FASTTRACK.inf 3/ FASTTRACK.sys

Does that look right? I'm after the driver to be able to set up the system from scratch.

Also should I use the WHQL XP driver or just the XP driver? It has both in the folder. The XP driver is about 2 or 3 weeks newer than the WHQL XP.

Funny enough I have a gigabyte board that uses that promise 20276 raid drivers....

what you have to add to the floppy is these files/folder....

Folder named WinXP with these files inside it,

then the other files you need are these,

or attached is the recent files I have on my Raid drive floppy... just format and copy the un-zipped files inside the fasttrack folder onto the floppy and at the time to hit F6 ( you will have to be quick and hit F6 a few times as it doesnt always pick up on the fact ) to install 3rd part drivers insert the floppy with the drivers > press S to specify additional devices > choose the fasttrack driver and follow all other prompts... it will tell you when to remove the floppy and then it will carry on with the XP install.
