RAID HDD, new pc needs help

k, hi, i got that PC i talked about B4.. but that HDD .. the mobo can't find it.. i went to asus .. looks like alot of people had the same problem.. i was thinking maybe i need drivers.. but not sure where to look.. asus was no help lol.. but i have a really cool mobo

anyhow.. i set to raid.. when to raid config and did low lvl format.. used diffrent wires.. i tried alot

my idea right now.. is get anouther HDD thats IDE.. and use the RAID for a back up... but i hope it would work as a back/up if windows can't find it now... why would it find it after windows is instailed..... so anyone out there know about RAID setup's ,I can get to the setup in bios and create.. low lvl formate..ect in RAID.. but every time i try to load up XP ... "no hard disk found" but i can load everything up till that point..




well other then that.. everything looks great on it.. i can't wait to take Pic's ect

 

When you say ''got that PC i talked about B4.. but that HDD .. the mobo can't find it..'' are you refering to a single SATA HD as to make a RAID array you will need 2 SATA HD's . Can you be a bit more specific and also post your computers specs and you will get more response from fellow Geeks here.
