Raid 0 would require 2 disks. Get a second Raptor.

Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks (RAID). Array meaning more then one disk :)

ok and thanks, but the problem is that windows is rejecting my hard drive ,wanting to safely remove the hardware... all I want to know is can I run 1 sata raptor 74g on my system and if I can what do I do to get rid of the windows warning...

Yes you should be able to, but it wouldn't be raid, did you install the sata drivers for your mobo
