Alright, I've currently got the following setup for hard disks:

2x500GB SATA drives plugged into the motherboard, each running an operating system.

2x1TB SATA drives plugged into my Silicon Image SiI 3114 RAID controller in RAID 1.

Now my question is this, do most RAID cards (or my SiI 3114) support handling multiple arrays? My plan is to replace the two 500GB drives with two 300GB VelociRaptor's from Western Digital when Windows 7 is released and set them to RAID 0 on my SiI 3114. But I'm only going to do this if my RAID card can run both arrays because I don't trust my Striker Extreme to run anything RAID related

According to the manual for your device, it supports 1 array with up to 4 devices. I have never seen 1 controller that supports 2 arrays.
