Rainbow 6 Vegas question

The game requires a shader model 3.0 gfx card, i have a x800xl (which only uses shader 2.0b) can i play it with some settings disabled or will not be able to run it at all??

 

Is there a demo around you can try anywhere? or maybe you know someone with the game or something... if not, Electronics Boutiqe have a 7 day return policy on games, if it doesn't work, take it back to them and explain why, shouldn't be a problem, I know dicksmith have a 2week return policy, but i'm not sure they'll take it back unsealed. In any case, tell the guys at EB your postion before you buy it so they don't just think you're pirating it.... Good Luck mate.

 

urgh...i dont want to go through the trouble of getting it and returning it...non of my friends have the game either....
