Rainlendar2.

When I run Rainlendar2 I get the following error:



The error is related to MS Visual C++ 2015 which cannot be installed because it has been replaced by the 2017 runtimes.
I used the AIO Runtime Libraries by Wilenty (Installer/Uninstaller) to try and fix the issue, re-installed Rainlendar2, but without success.
I also checked the Rainlendar forums and there's no thread relating to this problem.
Apart from uninstalling MS VC++ 2017 and installing MS VC++ 2015, is there any other solution?

 

Try to install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015

The Trouble shooter shows no problems.
I have installed Rainlendar2 in Windows XP on the other partition and this time I'm getting a different error when trying to run the program.

 

GetTickCount64 is available from Vista onwards (see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms724411(v=vs.85).aspx). This software won't run on XP.

I really want to know what the problem is with MS Visual C++ but... I am not wasting any more time with this software.
This is the worst installer I have seen.

• There's no default installation path. You have to browse to Program Files and then create a folder for Rainlendar - the first time in 10+ years I had to do this.
  
• Other programs will show a message when you try to install them in an unsupported version of Windows.
