   I have a compaq presario with a celeron 2.6 Ghz and 256 piece of RAM and I would like to add a 256 to 512 piece of RAM for it. I was wondering what would be the best for this.

   contact compaq and tell em what you got and ask for a recomended list; its always best to use the same exact model of ram when adding.
