Ram crash

Hi
A friend of mine recently had the RAM on her system crash leaving a BSOD. She could not even get in through Safe Mode. As the computer was under warranty she returned it to NEC. They have come back and told her that it was the RAM that crashed and they have replaced it. They were in the process of running a RAM test and then they would send it back to her. Her question is: If the RAM has crashed, will everything still be OK on the hard drive. She has a lot of info to do with her business stored there and no backups. rolleyes
