Ram not working

    my system is only recognizing 1gig or ram i have tried swapping it out with others. it seems that both sticks are good and both banks work? i am lost
    please advise

    Nevermind one of the banks is not working sorry to bother you.

    Hi, welcome to the Majorgeeks forum :)

    It would help if you specify your PC make/model or motherboard make/model. Have you checked at Crucial.com to find out how much RAM you can install?

    Ouch, sorry to hear that. If the computer is under warranty, that can be fixed by replacing the motherboard. If not... then you might be out of luck here.
