    hi,

    this problem is driving me crazy,

    i have a HP desktop (HP compaq dx6100 MT)

    RAM i have:
    ===========
    OCZ (OCZ4001024ELDCPE-K) 1GB (2x512MB) DDR-400 PC-3200 CL 2-3-2-5 Platinum EL Dual Channel Kit (LIFETIME WARRANTY)

    X2 - Hynix 256 MB PC3200 DDR RAM (MEM-256DDR400)

    ===========

    4 RAM slots - 4 Rams

    are they compatable ??

    ive tried many slot combinations, but they dont seem to like each other.

    tried OCZ in the blue slots - works
    tried OCZ in the black slots - works

    tried Hynix in the blue slots - works
    tried Hynix in the black slots - works

    yet when i tried: :(
    OCZ in the blue slots
    and hynix in the black slots,

    boot the PC up and the battery light flashes, all seems ok but the screen wont turn on and just the red battery light flashing.

    any help?

    Thanks a buch,

    Chris
