RAM question, help please.

    I have 512 MB of DDR memory in my new eMachine W3050 computer, and in my information it shows that I only have 448 MB.

    Anybody have any idea why?

    Integrated graphics cards don't (usually) use their own memory... they take a chunk out of the system's memory.

    Therefore

    Total memory (512 MB) - Video Memory (64 MB) = Available Memory (448 MB)

    Well it lets me set my video graphics in my BIOS up to 128, so if I do that will my video actually improve, by taking from the physical memory?
