Ram question on A7V8X-X mobo, pls help

Hi. I need some assistance. I'm trying to maximize the amount of ram running in my system and after much researching I'm confused because my stuff is older.

I'm running an ASUS A7V8X-X with a Sempron 3000+

My question is out of the sticks of RAM I have, what config can I use? My BIOS is all at the default settings. Here's what sticks I have....

(1) 1gig pc3200 kingston valueram
(2) 512 pc3200 kingston valueram
(2) 256 pc2700 OEM ram

Originally I was running a 512 pc3200 with the 2x256 pc2700 to give me 1gig total ram and my system ran fine. I wanted to get more ram so I mistakenly bought more pc3200 ram and stuck it all in at once and my games started crashing.

So now I have the 1gig pc3200 plus the 2x256 pc2700 to give me 1.5 gigs total.

Now I have these 2 sticks of 512 pc3200 just sitting here and I'd like to utilize them if I can to give me more ram. How can I do this or better yet, what's the best combo to use from what I have and is there any tweaks in the BIOS I need to make to compensate?

Here's some key info from the manual on RAM.

FSB 200/266/333Mhz
3xDDR DIMM Sockets
Max. 3 GB unbuffered PC2100/1600 non-ECC DDR SDRAM
(Note: PC3200 maximum to 2 banks only. PC2700 maximum to 4 banks only.)

Page 14 part 2 in the manual has info on the CPU DDR relationships.
Page 45-47 deals with the ram BIOS settings and I do see the memory freq and go up to 400mhz.

Many thanks to any input because I'm just pulling my hair trying to understand how to mix my ram effectively. I appreciate your time.

 

Could I run this stable....(1gig 3200)(512 pc3200)(256 pc2700) because I see the manual stats 2 banks of pc3200 max. At least this would give me 1.75 gigs.

 

The other thing that some friends have told me is I may be able to use the pc3200 ram but downclock them so they all run at pc2700 speeds but I still gain the ability to use their size to give me 2 gigs total....??
