RAM suffix

    What does the suffix at the end of RAM sticks mean. Some finish in DIMM.P, some im DIMM. Q, etc.:confused:

    Personally, I have never heard of either DIMM.P or DIMM.Q. However they probably do exist. First of all we shold get the basics right :)

    DIMM - Stands for Dual Inline Memory Module

    Not quite sure why a 15 year old knows that but I guess that just one of those things. Also try typing "Define: DIMM" in google. That normally points me in the right direction for abreviations ;)
