    Hello all,

I just got finished putting together my new PC, and I put 4 gigs of RAM in it. When I look in bios, it confirms that I have 4GB of RAM, however, both Windows Vista and Windows XP tell me that I only have 3GB of RAM. Does anyone know what the problem is here?

    Thanks,

    kMOS

There are different answers depending what hardware your using,I'v had a quick look and I cant find anyone who has definitively cracked the problem but basically if your copy of vista is 32 bit your stuck with 3gb

It isnt something I'v tried but a quick google search has a few small hacks and cheats to free up some of the memory, again depending on your hardware
