   Hi Guys,
   
   I recently purchased a Tosiba Equium A200-196 laptop for the wife and need to upgrade the RAM from its current 2x512 to 2Gig. I also have a Toshiba Satelite L350 with 2x1Gig of RAM fitted which I would like to upgrade to 4Gig. Is the RAM compatable, i.e can I use the old 2x 1Gig RAM from my Satelite L350 in the Equiium and just purchase 2 new 2 Gig card for the Satelite.
   Your advice would be appreciated.

   Go here http://www.crucial.com/
   click the system scanner and write down all the memory specs for both computers.
   
   You do not have to purchase the memory from Crucial but the tool is excellent to let you know exactly what is in the computer so you purchase the proper type.
