    Hey Major Geeks.

I started this thread in the Malware portion of your forum and the problem has lead to here as I fixed it before and it is now back with a vengeance so it seems.

I'm having a problem where I'm getting some odd lag spikes, they happen about every 20 seconds it seems and last for about 3-5 seconds.

I narrowed it down before to it being a UPnP problem and found a fix on Microsofts web page, I made a Dword in reg edit where Microsoft guided me to and it fixed it for a bit and it came back. Now that its back its affecting my main computer and my other computer next to me as before it was only affecting my main one.

As for some stats I am running a D-Link DI-624 router.

I'm on Road Runner High Speed Cable.

The old post from the Malware forum is located here:

I also have a recent Ethereal recording of all internet usage and can send it to you and or post it on here so you can view it.

Whats in the green area I believe is causing the spikes.

Any help would be appreciated ASAP!

    Thanks,
    Elim
