I have a small problem that is unusual.
I am using windows7 and decided to reformat it, i put the disk in and reboot, it goes through the normal procedure and gets to the part where it says "press any key to boot from disk" at that point it does not matter which key i press it refuses to boot from the disk because the keyboard is not active.
I have tried tried booting form other disks Hirens, Bart pe but it is just the same, the keyboard refuses to react even though the led light is on.
    Any suggestions please.??

Thanks Digital, it was what you said USB was not enabled in bios.
I have not tried a PS2 (and i dont have one)so can not answer that.

Glad you got it fixed Bill. I keep a couple of USB to PS/2 adapters around, they have come in handy a few times.

    Hi Fred
Yep i got some in a box somewhere but finding them is another matter.

These fixes are dead easy with MG to jog the old grey matter.
