Tip # 98 Track down what folders are using your Hard Drive space.

I came across this program when endeavouring to track down a missing 27 gigs of space on a friends Vista 160 gig C:\ hard drive.
I could only add up to 40 gigs used. "Properties" indicated 67 gigs used. 27 gigs missing ??

Program is FolderSizes, shareware, 15 day trial. You probably won't need it more than once or twice in 15 days. There is a special $$ price for Home users.

At the resulting command prompt, type in
"set DEVMGR_SHOW_DETAILS=1" <ENTER>

Now you'll see additional info about each of your installed devices when you access your Device nanager in future.
