RE:IE vs. opera, firefox...opinions pls

Why would anyone pay for a browser like Opera -when a free browser (like Firefox) renders pages better? -btw: I'm a paying subscriber to Opera but have forsaken it for (what I consider to be) the far superior (and free!) Firefox.
I'm just wondering if any Opera fans out there (I used to be one) mighten be able to tell me what I'm missing by using Firefox.

I use both Opera & Firefox, been using Opera for years, guess it's become a habit. lol

Opera is nice but not as nice as Firefox (starts up much quicker than any browser) ;
Firefox is nice but has memory leak problem (not a problem if you have big computer) ;
IE, well you have to like it because it comes with your PC.

I am with KODO, I never liked Opera either.
If you like the IE engine, dont use IE, use one of the FREE add-on type browsers: CrazyBrowser, SlimBrowser, AvantBrowser (I like CrazyBrowser as my IE add-on better but Avant has better multi-language support) or MyIE2
If you don't like the IE engine, then Mozilla or slimmed down version Firefox is a very quick browser but as offmdan mentioned it could suck more system resources than others.

Firefox (or Mozilla) is also the quickest for page rendering (especially if on dial-up).
Opera is quickest to open up and then view pages back and forth after they've been viewed.
Do prefer these to any IE or IE based program as it lets the webpage know that we are not MSN fanatics.

Forgot to mention that Opera uses less ressources than any other email client or browser combined!

i use free version of opera have for a year really like it . ialso have firefox . and internet explore use explorer the least . opera is my #1 browser . have netscape too. newest version of all browers.

I love Opera but what the heck is a memory leak? I never use our IE because it is so slow. We have a rural phone line which slows things down but you would never know it with Opera. Firefox is my second choice. I tried really hard to get rid of IE until I discovered it comes with windows.

I use Mozilla/Thunderbird there are alot of options between the 2 of them i love my favorite is opening up different pages in new tabs instead of a new window!!

Another browser I like is Netcaptor which also runs on the IE engine. It's fast, clean and unlike IE secure. It also offers tabbed browsing.

I am by no means an expert but I love to voice my opinion. I absolutely love Firefox! It's speedy enough and has a semi-effective pop-up blocker included. I can only compare it to IE, AOL, and NetZero. The reason I'm writing this is to warn against NetZero. There's a reason it only costs $10 a month.
