re-install older version of Opera?

What precauations should I take when un-installing latest BETA version of Opera and re-installing an earlier version of Opera (like v9.25) I have saved current bookmarks to My Documents Folder twice, in different formats. What else?

Sorry Bill, it is not for me.
1. Address bar is too slow to come up.
2. Spurious circle appears beside each completed download. Circle only used to come up if there was something wrong with the download.
3. Speed of download in KB/s used to appear beside each download, AND REMAIN THERE. Now it remains briefly and disappears.
4. Transfer tab keeps on disappearing. It's gone now, again. I wanted to post a thumbnail of it for you to illustrate what I am talking about.
Opera Help is no help in finding out about the Transfer tab that I could find.

I like to monitor my downloads speeds over days. It isn't possible now. :cry
It may be my choice of settings, of course.

PS: Downloaded a file just now to get the Transfer tab back. See thumbnail for what I am taliking about.
PPS: Speed is already gone from my Spybot download earlier today (see thumbnail), as an example. Baz

Just un-installed v9.60 using Revo Uninstaller at http://www.majorgeeks.com/Revo_Uninstaller_d5706.html
Downloaded and installed v9.25. Difference in speed is amazing. URL address bar pops up instantly in v9.25

I was able to import my Bookmarks into v9.25, that I had previously exported from v9.60 without problems.

Only minor problem is that I had to setup my 9 Speed Dial links by hand, again. No big deal. It all works fine (v9.25) so far. :major :cool Bazza

 

This is what I like about v9.25, Bill. If someone can show me how to get the same things in later versions, I would switch again.:-D

Compare this thumbnail to earlier thumbnail (post #4). No circles beside each download, speeds are retained, faster, etc. The 2 downloads without speeds are small downloads and too fast to register a speed. :cool

All these downloads in the past 24 hours.
