hi, just wondering if i can connect my PC to CD player via an optical cable for playback of playlists on Hi-fi.

Both have optical ports which are fully working and i am running Realtek AC'97 audio software which provides an optical function. Please let me know if you knowhow to make a link. Thanks Jack

prolly gonna need a converter box for your end of the line.. AC97 is a cheapo sound chip made by a whole bunch of people. Ive never done this but thats the most obvios thing i thought id mention. Since we need to go from electricity to light...theres obvoisly has to be some conversion happnin somewherez
