Re RAM Upgradtion for SL500

Hello,

I wish to upgrade 1 GB RAM on Lenovo SL500 TYP-2746-6FG to 3GB, keeping 1GB intact and adding a 2GB

After doing online scanning of Crucial.com and asking to Crucial.com support , they suggested me this

I found some good deals from Kingston, attached is a pdf of the model, i thought is very close to above model.The difference I could locate is below.

128Meg x 64(2pcs) 256Meg x 64

What difference does it make with (128M x 64)-2pcs and (256Mx64) ?? Which one is recommended ?

Please suggest a compatible 2 GB RAM for my Laptop

Will i have problems, if i use 1GB in 1 slot and 2GB in another, or should the slots have equal distribution ?

Can I keep existing 1GB intact and insert in other slot ,the one you suggested i.e 1GB and then its 2 x 1G but with different companies., is it ok ?

or should both be new ?
