    Hi,

My avg and Skybot aren't working. I've uninstalled SB and reinstalled it, yet it crashes just as it's about to start. AVG no longer works either, along with ZoneAlarm, Htj, and fsbl etc..

Is there a program that can fix this?

    Thanks :)

Yay, I managed to get combofix working. And have attached a log to this post. Still having trouble with a couple of programs such as Wow Astrology for Lovers Shareware, it installs but doesn't load the progam when I attempt to open it. Could be the software. Also msn isn't working, I'll reinstall it and see how I go. Any help of information is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you :)

Hi and welcome. You are using avg7 which is out of date now. The latest version is 8.5 Build 386a1586.

I will review your combofix log, (note:
you were meant to run it from the desktop.) But in the mean time I would like for you to see if you can get MGTools.exe to successfully run and generate logs so we can take a better look at what's happening with your computer. Since you are having complications running it, let's see if we can rename the MGTools.exe to 123.com and then try again.

Failing that do try running it in safe mode also.

Let us know how you get on!

Also: Please try running SUPERantispyware and Malware Bytes anti-malware, but if possible do this PRIOR to running MGools.

If you have a problem running MBAM you can try the below:

Go to the C:\MGtools folder and locate the RunMB.bat file and double click on it to run it. This will attempt to make a renamed copy of the Malwarebytes program (named mgmb.exe) and then it will attempt to run this re-named version. If this runs, it will try to perform a QuickScan. Allow it to finish, then fix all the malware it finds. Then save the log. Attach this log if it does run.
