Re: SOS. Hijacked by swapx.

Like you guys pulling out our hair over swapx, I too have spent 2 days trying every thing possible to get this darn thing off my computer. Any advise is appreciated here too. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hi Kandyman,

Please EXTRACT HijackThis from the ZIP File to its own safe folder - C:\Program Files\HijackThis!

ALSO, Please download the following tool:

Pocket KillBox

Please rescan with HJT in the proper folder & attach that log as per these instructions:

Note that, before you scan, you MUST close all running programs including your web browser, e-mail and items in the system tray.

Please save your HJT Log and attach it via the "Manage Attachments" tool in the Additional Options section when you post.

Somebody will try to take a look when they get a chance.
