You have to set up the one you want to use as default browser. Right now I have Firefox set up but have it set if I bring up IE, it will ask if I want to change it. I leave it that way.
Other than that, how do you like thunderbird? Have been thinking about installing it.

If you open windows explorer and click tools-folder options-file types, you can find all the file types that maxthon opens. You can then change those to open with firefox.
