Hello there to the helpful people from Major Geeks.

I hope that I am not the only one having this problem but I hope that it can be fixed quickly.

My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium and I am not sure if it's the OS or Hardware but my computer keeps restarting, blue screen appears and once the OS safely restarts, it tells me that it has recovered from an Unexpected Shutdown.

I am not sure where the problem is coming from. I downloaded Memtest and it's not my RAM. Would someone please know the answer to this?

    Thanks in advance.

    To stop the restarts:

Go to start, right click computer. Choose properties.
Go to advanced system settings on the left. Click on the settings button under start and recovery.

Under system failure, uncheck automatically restart.

it wont stop the crashes, but it will allow you to write the error down, verbatim.

You will then manually have to reboot the machine via turning it orr back on, or a reset button.

    Thanks heaps Adryalyne.

I have done that now and we'll see what happens. Hopefully in the new future, I can get this problem and fix it without it causing any more computer problems.
