I am currently working on my cousin's computer which has multiple viruses/adware/spyware/hijack problems. I have removed the desktop hijacker, not with any of the tools but by manually checking almost every darned file on the comp. and deleting unknown/questionable files. I am now in the process of cleansing the comp (just disconnected from internet and starting with CCleaner atm). The only morphing process left is a small 192K file that keeps changing names when I kill the process.
I don't need any help yet, but would like to thank all at MajorGeeks for providing us all with the tools and knowledge to help us resolve our computer issues. THANKS, guys and gals :)
