    Try this:
    Open a command prompt
    Then type diskpart
Then type attributes volume clear readonly
This assumes when you open the command prompt you are in the read only disk. :wave:wave:wave

    :confused
So you go to start, run, type in cmd and no black box with prompt?

If you are running Vista or 7 you'll have to open up an elevated command prompt. Go to start, find and right click on command, select Run as Administrator, then use the diskpart commands. :wave:wave
