Read thread

Anyone else had an issue with all the new unread threads showing up as read when they logged on today?

 

Didn't notice it today, but it happens from time to time. Some kind of glitch in VB AFAIK.

 

Just logged back in and some of the threads I've already read were highlighted as unread. It glitches both ways. (shrug)

 

Just a minor bug, I have noticed it no biggie

 

Yeah...I've noticed it myself!! What I've noticed, that if I am in a thread for any length of time...when I go back to the particular forum...there all in non-bold (read) format...when I know I've not read but 1 or 2 and when I went into that specific thread, there was still atleast a half a dozen threads in bold which I hadn't read!!

But...Oh, well...price you gotta pay for being on the best forum in the WORLD!!!! Or as my wife hates it when I say" Well dear...sometimes you have to sacrifice to gain!!!!"...Oooohh gawd, she hates that, so naturally, I say it every chance I get!!!!

Nope its not a bug.

There was a database restoration.

So I still have this "read thread" problem. Logged into MGs this morning, having not signed in since Friday afternoon, and everything except one thread was already marked as read. I already changed my settings so it does not auto-login...I have to enter my password.

Not sure why this is happening all of a sudden...any further suggestions?

Apologies if I am missing any threads/postings directed at me.

I noticed that today when I logged in too. There were new posts but they weren't in bold lettering. It seems to be fine for me now though.

 

Yeah, once I am in they stay highlighted until I read them. It is just when I first log in that nothing is. I didn't think you all could have kept quiet the WHOLE weekend
