ReadyBoost Issue

    I'm on Vista Basic, I'm trying to use ReadyBoost with a flash drive that I've used it with before and every time I activate ReadyBoost with 4GB of space, the ReadyBoost file is created on the drive with 0kb of space and my computer doesn't exactly feel optimized. How can I fix this?
