I purchased a 4 GB flash drive ReadyBoost capable. I somehow got it set up but now I don't remember how I did it.

I ran a little file way back to disable AutoPlay and I'm not getting the tabs and such that are described for using ReadyBoost.

Actually, I just put 2 more GB RAM in and I was wanting to remove the ReadyBoost from this flash drive.

It's hard for me to explain when I don't understand things so well myself. I hope someone will get the gist of what I'm saying and help me with this.

open my computer, right click on the flash drive in question and choose properties. Should be a tab with ReadyBoost on it...

Yes, I found these directions but when I right click the disk in Computer, there is no ReadyBoost tab. I nearly drove myself crazy when I wanted to instigate this deal and finally found that ReadyBoost tab by some means, but I can't remember.

I finally found the cure again!

Go to Services/ReadyBoost and select Automatic startup. Then it said to click on the Start button.

After doing that I right clicked on the flash drive and had the ReadyBoost tab. Just wanted to share in case someone else is having the same problem.

    Thanks for posting!
